As DCP/IME for ABC 7 Amarillo, I was able to transition from print media to digital media.

Responsibilities: Managing the digital footprint for the ABC affiliate in Amarillo with primary responsibilities including, but not limited to:

•       Writing 5-10 articles per day and publishing written articles on station website and sharing across station social platform; Sharing relevant material from other news outlets with rapidly growing audience.

•       Editing content published by staff members to ensure brand consistency, style regulations, production quality.

•       Using Google Analytics and SEO practices to immerse the channel as a trusted, local, quality and consistent news room. Several times, I was recognized in regional meetings for performance managing the social media production and push alerts, which boosted the station's digital marketing numbers greatly. 

•       Training and continual coaching of station staff in best practices for publishing content to maintain a consistent, polished brand including reporters, weather and sports departments, sales department, creative department.

•       Attending various meetings to stay abreast on current station initiatives in order to strategize social impact.
