About me:

I'm an expert editor with experience across multiple areas, including academic writing. I'm an editor for an international magazine covering everything from scientific discoveries, health and wellness articles, politics, lifestyle and culture news, to entertainment pieces—all in both long and short form.

 

I'm an award-winning graphic designer, too! I'm a pro at Adobe InDesign and Canva, primarily. I've won the Bluebonnet Award from the Texas Press Association for The Belton Journal's 150th-year edition! I've also created newspaper advertisements.

 

Academically, I hold an MFA in Creative Writing from The University of Texas at El Paso and a BA in English Lit with a minor in Journalism from The University of Maryland. 

 

All in all, if they say it takes 10,000 hours to become an expert in something, I've achieved that in editing and design! I'm a 40-year-old remote-working mother, making extra cash and helping people along the way.
