TBH I thought I knew where this story would go - but it was so well written and nicely paced that I didn't mind too much. Instead it pulls a neat twist and while the ending is satisfying it's not predictable. The characters are believable, and likable, with enough depth to keep you guessing and indeed at the end of the book I found myself looking forward to another story involving the same people. That for me is a huge bonus, because I hate ending a book I enjoyed. The writing flows easily, avoids cliches and keeps the narrative flowing nicely. I would definitely recommend this for a read!
A great read!
I’m really bad at judging a book by the first chapter or two. If it doesn’t grab me, I won’t finish it. This book sucked me in and I couldn’t stop reading it! Great plot and nice twist at the end. Great writing skills, can’t wait to read your next book.

A page turner!
The story was suspenseful and intelligently told. I particularly liked the description of the mother's recipe for the task at hand because the ingredients were compassionate not vengeful. I would like to read a series of stories involving these characters. Well done, writer!

I lovvvveeeeee!
I enjoyed this book from beginning to end. The characters were well explained and I could relate to them and their style of living. I know this was a short story, but I would like to know how the story continues...
